Are you getting the error code: \u201cThe computer computer can\u2019t verify the identity of the RD Gateway. It\u2019s not safe to connect to servers that can\u2019t be identified\u201d? You most likely setup Remote Desktop Web Access (RDweb) with a self signed certificated.<\/p>\n

The reason why you are getting this error is your machine doesn\u2019t trust and can\u2019t verify the identity of the RD Gateway.<\/p>\n

To allow your machine to trust the RD Gateway and get RD Web Access working you will need to import the Cert from the website and put it into the \u201cTrusted Root Certification Authorities\u201d store<\/p>\n

\nOn the error pop-up click the \u201cView Certificate\u201d button.
\nClick on the Details tab and then hit \u201cCopy to File\u2026\u201d we will back the cert up to our desktop.
\nA Wizard will pop up. You will need to select the type of cert. Select \u201cDER encoded\u201d
\nSpecify the location
\nThe export should complete without errors.
\nRight click cert and select Install Certificate.
\nYou are going to Place the cert into the \u201cTrusted Root Certification Authorities\u201d store. You will need to click \u201cBrowse\u201d to select it.
\nThe import should work,
\nYou will be asked \u201cAre you REALLY sure you want to install this cert.\u201d. Yes\u2026 Yes you do.<\/p>\n

You will be told the import was successful.<\/p>\n

Close all browser. Go back to the RD Web Access URL and re-logon. Everything should work now.<\/p>\n
